‘Lord Jim’ is a novel by Joseph Conrad, originally published as a serial in Blackwood’s Magazine from October 1899 to November 1900. Joseph Conrad was a Polish-British writer regarded as one of the greatest novelists to write in the English language. Conrad is considered an early modernist, though his works contain elements of 19th-century realism.
