Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Baptist preacher, theologian, author, and one of the most influential Christian ministers of the nineteenth century. Often called the "Prince of Preachers," Spurgeon was renowned for his powerful sermons, profound biblical knowledge, and heartfelt commitment to sharing the message of the Gospel.
