Bambi

Man comes to the forest with weapons that can wound an animal.

Felix Salten (1869–1945) was an Austrian author, journalist, literary critic, and screenwriter whose works captured both the beauty of the natural world and the complexities of human society. Born as Siegmund Salzmann on September 6, 1869, in Budapest, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Salten moved with his Jewish family to Vienna while still a child. Vienna's vibrant cultural life introduced him to many leading writers, artists, and intellectuals, helping him establish himself as an important literary voice.

Throughout his career, Salten wrote novels, short stories, essays, travel books, plays, and newspaper articles. His keen observations of both people and wildlife gave his writing an unusual depth and realism.
