Baltasar Gracián (1601–1658) was a Spanish Jesuit priest, philosopher, moralist, and one of the most brilliant prose writers of Spain's Golden Age. Renowned for his sharp intellect and elegant style, Gracián explored the complexities of human nature, wisdom, leadership, and morality through a series of influential works that continue to be admired centuries after they were written.
